We made it super-simple for the lithium-ion battery to be removed and recharged. But, with spare batteries on hand that are so easy to fit, non-stop fun is guaranteed! Each battery runs for around one hour and takes about the same amount of time to fully recharge.
With three ride modes available, the MC-E 1.20 is certainly a safe balance bike to learn on. For new riders, the training mode is limited to a top speed of 16 km/h while the standard mode is limited to 24 km/h. And for those a little more fearless, there's the advanced mode, which allows for speeds of up to 32 km/h!

Simply put, kids can send it on the MC-E 1.20! Up front, the Manitou J-Unit Machete front forks boast 80mm of travel, which not only soak up rough terrain, but they take the sting out of heavy landings, too. The fork can be adjusted to suit each rider's weight and speed, which offers another valuable skill to learn - bike set-up!
At full speed in the advanced ride mode, the MC-E 1.20 absolutely rips! And this is precisely why you'll find hydraulic disk brakes front and rear so that fearless kids can slow things down in a hurry. For a little extra safety, the rear disk is completely covered.
With the battery placed low down on the frame, the MC-E 1.20 feels super-light to ride and tips the scales at just 15kg. This ensures kids can ride freely and stay focused on developing their skills. Parents and guardians also benefit from the small size and low weight as it means the MC-E 1.20 can easily be put into the back of a car for safe transportation.
Do you know what's great for a child's confidence? The ability to put their feet down while riding a bike, that's what! That's why, with a low seat height of 58cm, the MC-E 1.20 ensures 10-12-year-old's with an inside leg of 61cm can easily reach the ground. For those just starting out, this is even more important as being able to take a steadying dab is a vital part of learning to balance and to keep moving forwards. The seat height is adjustable as well so as riders grow it can easily be raised.
Super-strong and super-low in weight! The aluminum frame is tig-welded and ergonomically designed to put the bars, seat, and footrests in comfortable positions for day-long comfort.
